Our Ministry

Gilmont’s mission is to offer Christian-based programs and provide facilities through which groups and individuals grow in mind, body and spirit.

Gilmont has grown over time.  Though still a place of ministry for Presbyterian summer camps and retreats,  its broader scope now includes:

• serving special-needs campers and their families through the ministry of Circle of Friends;
  
• hosting various Christian denominations, families and nonprofits retreats and conferences;
• providing Outdoor School which engages public schools in meeting their educational goals for students through residential and day programs;
• helping enrich the lives of others through the camp experience; and,
• growing into spiritual formation program offerings.

Gilmont remains a simple, beautiful site with the benefit of comfortable accommodations and a beautiful Conference Center.  The kitchen staff is committed to serving delicious meals and sees accommodating special diet needs as part of our ministry.

Our Prayer: Thanking God that Gilmont is a place where fellowship, love and glory to Him abound, we pray that all who come to this place would experience His presence and would leave having been nourished in spirit, mind, and body.
